AR# 40442 ISE Design Suite - Long path name causes continuous errors

I am receiving errors about not being able to copy files and extract the archive.

What could be the problem?

Solution


Xilinx ISE Design Suite Installer is not catching the maximum path length correctly.

To work around this issue, make sure the path length you enter to install the tools has a maximum of 64 characters.
