4.2i Foundation Logic Simulator - Not all signals are listed in Component Selection window; how do I view all signals?

Keyword: timing, functional, func, alphabet, missing, signals, simulator

Urgency: Standard

General Description:
In the Foundation Simulator, a list of signals is available under "Component Selection for Waveform Viewer" in the Signal Selection window. This list can be accessed by selecting Signal -> Add Signals from the Logic Simulator window.

The signals are listed alphabetically. If the number of signals exceed the maximum that the window can display, the list of signals might not be complete. (This usually happens during the timing simulation of an HDL design.)

For example, signals that begin with letters "A through "N" will appear, but any signals beginning with the letters "O" through "Z" will not be visible in the list.

The remainder of the list can be obtained as follows:

1. In the Signal Selection window, click on the "More" button that appears under the signal list.

2. In the Select Object for Display window, select the signals you want to display (e.g., 01...z9) and click on "OK".
