Description

Can the Base Reference Design for the SP601, SP605, and ML605 Evaluation Kits be used on the Windows 7 operating system?

Solution

The Base Reference Design GUI used as part of the BRD for the SP601, SP605, ML605 does not work with Windows 7. Typical behavior seen is that it "errors out" when trying to connect and never shows any connectivity.

Customers must continue to use Windows XP OS with the Base Reference Design GUI for the 6 series boards.
