iMPACT - SPI flash erase passes, but blank check fails because Block Protection bits are set

Description

With iMPACT Indirect SPI programming I see that erase will pass, but a subsequent blank check will fail. What is the issue here?

Solution

SPI flash has Block Protection bits that select which portions of the flash are sector protected. These will need to be set to 000 for iMPACT to ensure a correct erase and blank check. If these symptoms occur, please check yourBlock Protection bits settings.
