AR# 43011 12.x/13.1 Virtex-6 - Issue with -g next_config_addr option

Description

The multiboot address specified in the bitgen -g next_config_addr option is not being set properly in the bit file.

Solution

The -g next_config_addr"Starting Address for Fallback Configuration" option for BitGen isnot set correctly in Project Navigator 12.x/13.1.If you specify a <=7 digit hex value, BitGen shifts everything to the left 6 bits. If you specified a 8-digit hex value, then BitGen ignores this setting altogether.

For potential work-arounds, contact Xilinx Support.

This issue isfixed in 13.2.
