When I specify 12 MHz as my cable frequency, I see the following message in the iMPACT tool:
"WARNING:iMPACT - Unsupported frequency. Using default frequency: 6 Mhz."
Also, the cable speed seems to be reset to 2 MHz according to the log:
"// *** BATCH CMD : setCable -port usb21 -baud 2000000"
How do I work around this issue?
The cable will operate correctly at the lower frequency, so you can operate as normal or specify a different frequency. If you have a requirement to use 12 MHz, you can use iMPACT in batch mode.
To set the cable frequency in batch mode use the command:
"setcable -port -usb21 -baud 12000000"
This issue will be resolved in a future version of the iMPACT tool.
