14.x CoreGen - AXI Interconnect - Does the AXI Interconnect support multiple Masters?

How many Masters and Slaves can the CORE Generator version of the AXI Interconnect support?

As per DS768: LogiCORE IP AXI Interconnect, only the N:1 (Master Device:Slave Device) configuration is supported.

"Up to 16 Slave Interfaces (to accept transactions from up to 16 connected Master Devices) and one Master Interface (to issue transactions to one connected Slave Device)."

Therefore, the CORE Generator version of the AXI Interconnect can support 16 Master Devices and 1 Slave Device.

The graphic below shows that there are 16 available Slave Interfaces on the Interconnect to interact with 16 Master Devices and 1 Master Interface to interact with 1 Slave Device.

In order to have multiple Master and Slave Devices, please refer to (Xilinx Answer 37856) for information regarding the use of Xilinx Platform Studio (XPS) to create an AXI Interconnect for use in ISE/PlanAhead flow.
