AR# 44502 13.x iMPACT - "INFO:iMPACT - The selected file's size (xxxxxxxxxxx bits) is larger than devices supported in this mode"

When programming my attached flash using the Indirect Programming flow, I see the following message in the console:

"INFO:iMPACT - The selected file's size (359984352 bits) is larger than devices supported in this mode."

Checking my file, it looks like it should fit in the selected flash and programming seems to complete. What is the issue here?

In the iMPACT 13.1 and 13.2 tools, this message can appear even when it is not accurate. In some cases, it is appropriate, however, if you find that it is not accurate for your situation, you can safely ignore it. This issue is resolved in the iMPACT 13.3 tool.
