Description

Why do I see sub-standard results from the chroma channel of the MANR core?

For example, some latency/ghosting can be observed on Chroma relative to Luma.

This is caused by lack of provision for separate filtering on the Chroma channel.

Solution

This will be fixed in the next release of the LogiCORE IP Motion Adaptive Noise Reduction (MANR) core.

To work around this issue, use only the LUMA channel.
