Solution

The SuperClock-2 BCS description for the SP623, ML623 and all 72x boards is not correct.

The text currently says: "Includes an additional IIC control module for the FMC-XM104 module enabling frequency selection of the Silicon Labs Si570 and Si5368 programmable clock sources." However, this only applies to the evaluation boards and not the MGT characterization boards.

The MGT boards description should read, "Includes an additional IIC control module for the SuperClock-2 module enabling frequency selection of the Silicon Labs Si570 and Si5368 programmable clock sources."

This is a known issue that is going to be fixed in version 14.2 of the tools.
