AR# 47802 13.x/14.x iMPACT - Spartan-6 - Inconsistent DNA values from 'readdna' and 'readefuse -dna' commands

Description

ForSpartan-6 devices, there are two command line options to read device DNA - readdna and readeffuse -dna. These do not produce consistent results. Which one is correct?

Solution

The DNA value readback using 'readefuse -dna'is incorrect. The "readdna" option should be used.This option is used for the GUI command also. The issue is with how the data is processed and displayed rather than the read operation itself. This issue will be resolved in a future version of iMPACT.
