AR# 50109 14.1 Project Naviagtor - Not possible to run XST is a separate working directory: ERROR:HDLCompiler:0 - "Unknown" Line 0: The path "../../../P15xf_test" does not exist

Description

With ISE 14.1 design tools, it is not possible to set the XST working directory outside of the project directory. The following occurs if this is done:

ERROR:HDLCompiler:0 - "Unknown" Line 0: The path "../../../P15xf_test" does not exist

Solution

This issue does not occur in ISE 14.2 design tools.

For ISE 14.1 design tools, use the default location (project directory) for the XST directory.
