4.2i Foundation Simulator - Error: "Simul :MACRO: illegal macro format - line is too long"

Keywords: Foundation, simul, illegal, macro, format, line too long, script, command

Urgency: Standard

General Description:
When I load a Foundation simulation command file, the following error is reported:

"Simul :MACRO: illegal macro format - line is too long
Simul :MACRO: Unknown signal or pin name: DDA_OUT - ignored
Simul :MACRO: Unknown signal or pin name: DA_OUT1 - ignored"

In Foundation simulation, a macro is a combination of commands or signals.

One source of this problem has been invalid syntax in the script file in a VECTOR definition.

The error will usually be issued immediately after the problem definition has been read in by the simulator, so you must pay attention to the informational message logged immediately before this error.

To avoid this error message, correct the syntax error. The vector syntax is as follows:

vector <vector_name> sig_1 sig_2 ... sig_n

For example:

vector Q_bus Q0 Q1 Q2 Q3 Q4 Q5 Q6 Q7
