AR# 52002 MIG 7 Series - Vivado Simulator scripts have been removed for VHDL designs

Version Resolved and other Known Issues: See (Xilinx Answer 45195).

MIG 7 Series VHDL only designs have removed the xsim_run.bat/.sh script and related files from the ./sim directory, but the Vivado Simulator tool still supports VHDL and mixed-mode simulations.

Solution

For VHDL designs, you should use ModelSim and the provided sim.do script located in the ./sim directory.
