AR# 52865 2012.3 Vivado - Control Characters added to Log for Windows 7 32-bit

Description


When running a Tcl script in Vivado with Windows 7, the vivado.log file has control characters added to the time elapsed section for 32-bit machines, for example:

Solution

This occurs when the elapsed time is a fraction of a second. This has been fixed in Vivado Design Suite 2012.4.
