AR# 53069 14.2/3 iMPACT - SVF playback fails with Scan Data Mismatch during SPI indirect programming with a Digilent Cable

Description

After generating an SVF file for indirect programming and attempting to playback in iMPACT with a Digilent USB cable, I see the error:

ERROR:iMPACT - On line:XXXXX ,Failed ScanIR: TDO () does not match Expected TDO()
INFO:iMPACT:2149 - Failed ScanIR TDO()
EXCEPTION:iMPACT:SVFReader.c:296:1.33 - Scan Data Mismatch.
INFO:iMPACT:2146 - Play svf failed.

When running the SVF file over the Platform Cable USB, the file executes without errors.

Solution

This is due to anissue with the Digilent cable drivers and will be resolved in iMPACT 14.4. To work around this issue, you can use a Platform Cable USB.
