In the LogiCORE Peak Cancellation CFR (PC-CFR) v3.1, the input threshold is not working as expected.
The threshold value is an input to the core.
When users change the CFR threshold from a Low to a High value and then bring it back to a Low value, the threshold value locks and does not reflect the input threshold change.
For example, on setting the value to 6 dB, increasing it to 8 dB, and bringing back to 6 dB, CFR is not responding as expected.
This behavior can be seen on plotting CCDF.
This is known issue with the PC_CFR v3.1 core in ISE 14.x and later.
To resolve this issue, you must download and install a patch over your ISE Design Suite 14.x installation.
You can download the patch from the PC-CFR Evaluation Lounge page.
To install the patch, unzip the contents of the ZIP file to the root directory of your ISE tool installation.
Installation instructions are available in the .txt file that is attached.
