If running the VC709 Connectivity Targeted Reference Design, the TRD setup window / GUI should report the correct device is detected. You should see: "Xilinx Corporation Device 7083".
The GUI should look similar to the following:
Instead, you might see the following message: "No Xilinx Device found with Device ID 7083".
Using the lspci command in the fedora terminal will read the Xilinx board as "Xilinx Corporation Device 7038", which is incorrect.
The message "No Xilinx Device found with Device ID 7083" is usually seen if the TRD is not loaded onto the board.
The Virtex-7 FPGA VC709 Connectivity TRD should arrive with the Connectivity TRD pre-loaded. However, if this is not the case, or a customer has re-programmed the flash, the above message might appear. If that is the case, you will have to program the BPI flash on the VC709 with the Targeted Reference Design before getting started with the TRD.
