Solution

In Vivado, only one QSPI mode can be selected among single, dual and parallel topologies.

The options are now mutually exclusive, leading to EDK XPS generated QSPI settings not working in Vivado.

To work around this issue, the XML file can be edited in a text editor under the following scenarios:

Single QSPI is enabled

No change is needed

Dual Stacked is enabled:

Add the following line in the XML
<set param="PCW::QSPI::GRP_SINGLE_SS::ENABLE" value="0" />

Dual Parallel is enabled:

Add the following lines in the xml
<set param="PCW::QSPI::GRP_SS1::ENABLE" value="0" />

<set param="PCW::QSPI::GRP_SINGLE_SS::ENABLE" value="0" />
