Vivado - How can we turn off echoing of a Tcl command?

How can I turn off echoing of a Tcl command?

When I source a Tcl script, I do not want to see the source code or the variables in the Tcl console or shell.

Solution

In order to hide the echo, use the -notrace option of the source command.

For example: 

source -notrace myscript.tcl
