PetaLinux 2014.4 - Booting the Linux Kernel with "maxcpus=1" Argument Causes System To Hang

Description

I am trying to boot my Linux system with the "maxcpus=1" argument on a ZC702 or ZC706 board.

When booting in this configuration, the Linux kernel locks up.

Solution

Use the "clk_ignore_unused" Linux kernel boot argument to work around this issue.
