Vivado 2014.4/2014.4.1 - 7 Series FUSE_USER eFUSE register program sequence requirements

Description

Depending on the order in which you program the FUSE_USER eFUSE register, the register might not be programmed as expected.

In 2014.4/2014.4.1, if you program FUSE_USER[31:8] first, then on the next eFUSE programming run program the AES key and FUSE_USER[7:0], then the eFUSE programming arguments are correct.

In 2014.4/2014.4.1, if you program BOTH the FUSE_USER[31:0] , and the AES key in the same run, then the eFUSE programming arguments are correct.

In 2014.4/2014.4.1, if you program the AES key and FUSE_USER[7:0] bits first, then on the next eFUSE programming run program FUSE_USER[31:8], then the eFUSE programming arguments for FUSE_USER[31:8] are incorrect.

Solution

All sequences are working as expected in Vivado 2015.1.
