PC CFR v6.0- Vivado IDE parameters for post processing stage are not displayed properly in Core GUI during re-customization of PC CFR IP

Description

The Peak Cancellation Crest Factor Reduction (PC CFR) v6.0 core has a post processing stage after the CFR stage.

The post processing stage can be either WCFR or Hard Clipper or None.

When re-customizing a previously generated core, some of the options in the drop down box for the post processing stage might be numerical values (0, 1 or 2) instead of the options given above.

These numerical values are the user parameters given in the PC-CFR v6.0 product guide in Table 4-1: Vivado IDE Parameter to User Parameter Relationship.

Solution

This is known issue with the PC-CFR v6.0 core in the Vivado 2015.1 release.

Work-around 1:

During re-customization, use the following rules to map the user parameters to the correct Vivado IDE parameters for the post processing stage (using Table 4-1 from the product guide) as follows:

The value 0 corresponds to "WCFR" as the post processing stage.
The value 1 corresponds to "Hard Clipper" as the post processing stage.
The value 2 corresponds to the post processing stage "None".

Work-around 2:  Generate the PC-CFR core again in IP Catalog.

This issue is scheduled to be fixed in Vivado 2015.2.
