In my Vivado IP Integrator (IPI) Block Design (BD), I have two instances of an Aurora 64B66B IP.
If I double-click on the second Aurora IP instance or if I validate the design, the following error messages are reported:
This will happen if the second Aurora IP Instance was copied from the first. In IPI there is an Ease of Use feature to disable the GT DRP interface. This is an IPI feature only.
By default in IPI mode, the Disabled option is chosen. However, when a user attempts to customize a copied instance of the Aurora 64B66B IP, IPI is incorrectly validating the instance values against the IP Catalog version of Aurora 64B66B
If the DRP option chosen is either AXI4LITE or Native, and the Ctrl+C and Ctrl+V option is used then this error is not seen.
To avoid the issue create new instance of this IP rather than using the copy (ctrl-c), paste (ctrl-v) option to create multiple instances.
This issue has been fixed in Vivado 2015.1.
