HDMI RX Subsystem v1.0 - Why does the output video look incorrect when receiving 720p59/60 and WXGA+ at 10-bits per component (BPC)?

Description

Why does the output video look incorrect when receiving 720p59/60 and WXGA at 10-bits per component (BPC)?

The Luma and Chroma are wrong for these resolutions:

  • 720P 59Hz 10-bit
  • 720P 60Hz 10-bit
  • WXGA+ (1366x768P 60Hz) 10-bit

Solution

This is a known issue that will be fixed in a future version of the HDMI RX Subsystem.
