XPLA Professional - Compiler fails when 3-state buffers are defined as buried nodes

Description

Keywords: XPLA, Professional, CoolRunner, fitter, nodes, 3-state, tri-state, buffers

Urgency: Standard

General Description:
Why does the compiler fail when I have 3-state buffers defined as buried nodes?

Solution

Due to the architectural restrictions of buried nodes, it is not possible to define these nodes as 3-state buffers. 3-state buffers are only permitted on I/O pins.
