Databook - How can the number of Tbufs in a device be determined?

Keywords: Number, Amount, total, Tbuf, Tbufs

Urgency: Standard

General Description:
The number of Tbufs in a device is not listed in the Databook.
How can the number of Tbufs for a given device be determined?

The number of Tbufs for a 4k, Spartan, Spartan-II, Virtex, or Virtex-E
device can be determined by using the following formula:

# of Tbufs = # of rows of CLBs x (# of columns of CLBs x 2 + 4)
The number of rows and columns in the CLB matrix can be found
in the Databook under the CLB Matrix Table.

The number of Tbufs in any device can also be determined by looking
in the Map Report. The Map Report indicates the number of
Tbufs used in a design and the total number available. This only
appears in the Map Report if a Tbuf is used in the design.
