4.2i Foundation Logic Simulator - When functional simulation of multiple LogiBLOX instances is performed, certain copies do not properly initialize

Keywords: simulation, functional, LogiBLOX, Foundation, macro, schematic, mem

Urgency: Standard

General Description:
When I perform functional simulation of multiple LogiBLOX instances, a number of copies do not properly initialize.

If you run checkpoint simulation, this issue will be resolved and all LogiBLOX instances will simulate properly.

To run a checkpoint simulation:

1. Run "Translate" in the flow engine. Stop after the Translate process by either pressing the "Stop" button, or, once the flow engine begins (Translate stage), go to "Setup" and select "Stop after..." to define the stopping point. This step will merge all the components of the design into a single .ngd file.

2. From within Foundation Project Manager, go to Select Tools -> Simulation/Verification -> Checkpoint Gate Simulation Control. Select the <design_name>.ngd for functional simulation.
