General Description:
What is the status of the I/O pins, configuration memory, distributed RAM, and block RAM on a Spartan-II device in power-down mode?


NOTE: Only select early versions of Spartan-II devices have a functional power-down mode. Current production devices do not have a power-down mode. For a complete list of those devices, see (Xilinx Answer 10500).

Spartan-II power-down status summary:
- Outputs are in a high-z state and inputs are disabled.
- All I/O pull-ups and pull-downs are disabled.
- Configuration memory is retained.
- Distributed RAM content is retained.
- Block RAM content is retained.
- Data register values are retained.
