Using the Console, Errors, and Warnings Panels
The Console, Errors, and Warnings panels in the Transcript window display a log of all project activity. Each panel shows different information as follows:
  •  Console panel - Shows processing information from each process, including error and warning messages generated by the synthesis and implementation tools.
  •  Errors panel - Shows only error messages, which indicate that a process did not complete successfully.
  •  Warnings panel - Shows only warning messages, which indicate that a problem was detected in the process or design, but the process successfully created the necessary output files.
Note The Transcript window automatically scrolls output messages as processes run. If you manually scroll to read the messages, auto-scrolling stops. To resume auto-scrolling, press Ctrl+End.
