Use this
dialog box to set the path for integrated tools installed on your
system. To access this dialog box, select
Edit > Preferences. Expand the
ISE General category, and click
Integrated Tools.
After integrated tools are installed,
the ISE® software searches your machine for the tools and populates
the path fields. If you make changes to the default locations in the
path fields, you must exit and restart Project Navigator for the changes
to take effect.
Note Integrated tools may not be supported for
all source types and on all platforms. For more information, see the
documentation provided with the tool.
- Model Tech Simulator
Specifies the full path to the ModelSim simulator executable, modelsim.exe.
Note ModelSim XE is available on the Windows platform only.
- Synplify
Specifies the full path to the Synplify synthesis tool executable, synplify.exe.
- Synplify Pro
Specifies the full path to the Synplify Pro synthesis tool executable, synplify_pro.exe.
- Precision
Specifies the full path to the Precision synthesis tool executable, precision.exe.
- ChipScope
Specifies the full path to the folder that contains the ChipScope™ Pro Analyzer
executable, analyzer.exe.
Note By default, the software points to the ChipScope Pro Analyzer
executable found in the registry. The ChipScope Pro Inserter executable
is picked up automatically from the same folder specified for the
Analyzer. The ChipScope Pro Analyzer and Inserter software version must match the ISE software version.
- PlanAhead
Specifies the full path to the folder that contains the PlanAhead™ software
executable, planahead_install_path/bin.
