Use the Import EDIF/NGC Project page
to select a top-level EDIF or NGC/NGO source file for this project.
You can also select a constraints file to add to your project.
- Select the Input File for the Project
- Input Design
Enter the complete path or browse to the EDIF or NGC/NGO file
to use as the input file for your project. A file must be specified
here to continue using the New Project Wizard.
- Copy the input design to the project directory
Copies the input design file into the project directory. If
you deselect this option, you can keep the file in a remote directory.
By default, this option is selected, and the file is copied into your
project directory.
- Select the Constraint File for the Project
- Constraint File
Enter the complete path or browse to the User Constraints File (UCF) to associate
with the EDIF or NGC/NGO file. Entering a file is optional.
Note The constraint file is automatically associated with the EDIF
file when both are specified in the New Project Wizard. Whenever a
constraint file is added to a project that has only one source file
(EDIF), it is automatically associated to that single source file.
- Copy the constraints file to the project directory
Copies the constraints file into the project directory. If
you deselect this option, you can keep the file in a remote directory.
By default, the option is selected, and the file is copied into your
project directory.
