RTL and Technology Viewers Toolbar

RTL and Technology Viewers

The RTL and Technology Viewers toolbar allows you to manipulate schematics. To show or hide the toolbar, select View > Toolbars > RTL/Technology Viewer.

	Select Area puts the editor in select mode, allowing you to select an area by using the Ctrl key.
	Select puts the editor in select mode, allowing you to select objects. Note This toolbar button now has two functions; select objects and select zoom.
	Select Zoom puts the editor in zoom mode, allowing you to zoom in, zoom out, zoom fit, and zoom area.
	Show Explorer Wizard opens the Explorer Wizard in the paneled view (if not already open).
	Add Input Cone adds the signals and blocks that drive the selected objects.
	Add Output Cone adds the signals and blocks that are driven by the selected objects.
	New Schematic with Selected Blocks allows you to select one or more blocks from a schematic and view them in a new schematic.
	Remove Selected Objects removes the selected objects from the current schematic view.
	Show Block Contents shows the contents of the selected block.
	Hide Block Contents hides the contents of the selected block.
	Show LUT Content shows the contents of the selected lookup table (LUT).
	Select Block Pin Annotation allows you to select information to display in the schematic. Note This button is available for use in Technology View - Exploration Mode only.
	Pop ascends the hierarchy, returning to the schematic in the level above the schematic you are viewing.
	Push pushes into the selected symbol, descending the hierarchy to open the schematic file underlying the symbol.
	Previous Schematic displays the previous schematic in the history list.
	Next Schematic displays the next schematic in the history list.
	Schematic History List shows the history list for schematics. Note This button is available for use in RTL and Technology Viewers only.
	Colorize New Objects shows recently added objects in a special color. To turn off this feature, deselect this button. Note This button is available for use in Technology View - Exploration Mode only.
	Start Marker displays the starting point of your selection in the schematic. Note This button toggles the Start/End Markers on once you have selected a net.
	End Marker displays the ending point of your selection in the schematic. Note This button toggles the Start/End Markers off once you have selected a net.
