Zooming
You can use menu commands or shortcut keys to zoom.
To Zoom
Zooming BehaviorMenu CommandShortcut Key
Zoom inSelect View > Zoom > In, or click the Zoom In toolbar button Image.  Press F8.
Zoom outSelect View > Zoom > Out, or click the Zoom Out toolbar button Image.  Press F7.
Zoom to display the entire drawing in the windowSelect View > Zoom > To Full View, or click the Zoom Full View toolbar button Image.  Press F6.  
Zoom to an area you selectSelect View > Zoom > To Box, or click the Zoom To Box toolbar button Image. Zoom in or out as follows:
  •  To zoom in, draw a bounding box around the area from the top left corner of the area to the bottom right corner.
Press Ctrl. Zoom in or out as follows:
  •  To zoom in, draw a bounding box around the area from the top left corner of the area to the bottom right corner.
  •  To zoom out, draw a bounding box from the bottom right corner to the top left corner.
Zoom to display selected objects at the highest magnification
  1.  Select the objects you want to center in the window.
  2.  Select View > Zoom > To Selected, or click the Zoom To Selected toolbar button Image.
 
  1.  Select the objects you want to center in the window.
  2.  Press F11.
 
What to Expect
After zooming, the command used prior to zooming becomes active.
