Xilinx Pb-Free and RoHS-compliant Products

Xilinx offers lead free components that comply with the European Union’s RoHS directive (2002/95/EC).  Information on the material composition of our lead free, RoHS compliant components is available in 2 formats - material declaration data sheets and IPC 1752 forms, and is posted under Packaging Specifications.  If you require additional information on material composition or analytical testing results, submit a request via online Technical Support.

We continue to offer our standard devices which contain lead but comply with the RoHS Directive limits for mercury, hexavalent chromium, cadmium, PBB and PBDE (see our ‘5 of 6’ certificate).

Environmental Benefit

We sold our first lead free component in 2002, and now the majority of the components we sell are lead free. Sale of lead free components keeps tons of lead out of our products and out of the world’s landfills every year.
