Partner Information

GIRD Systems develops custom signal processing solutions to the most challenging problems in the areas of signal processing, communications and electronic warfare. Our engineering team specializes in algorithm development, waveform design and porting, and hardware design that leverage the latest research and computing capabilities. Our library of hardware-agnostic (inferred) VHDL IP cores covers a broad range of signal processing building blocks, including forward error correction (FEC); Fast Fourier Transform (FFT/IFFT), including radix-4 and mixed radix implementations; COordinate Rotation Digital Computer (CORDIC), including sine/cosine, rotation, arcsine and arctangent support; finite impulse response (FIR) and infinite impulse response (IIR) filters; as well as complete modules for interference mitigation and electronic warfare. Our cores are designed to be fully configurable to support a broad range of applications and multiple architectures are available to balance the tradeoffs of resource utilization, latency, and throughput in your design. GIRD Systems’ areas of expertise include interference mitigation, direction finding, geolocation for GPS-denied environments, compressive sensing for wide-bandwidth SIGINT and COMINT, and communications waveform design and porting.
