Multi-Camera Driver Assistance Platform

Integration of Multiple Cameras in driver assistance (DA) systems is a growing trend in the automotive industry.  Existing multi-chip solutions are not optimal in handling the many feature requirements of multiple cameras due to architectural inflexibility, performance bottlenecks and high power consumption.  The Zynq-7000 All Programmable SoC integrates the typical sensing, environment characterization and decision-making features necessary in DA systems into a single monolithic device –drastically reducing BOM cost and lowering total system power, while boosting overall system performance compared to traditional multichip solutions.
