Channel-in-a-Box enables “playout automation” which encompasses ingesting video, producing the content by inserting logos, overlays and advertisements and then playing it out to broadcasting audiences on a set schedule which also triggers advertising billing to generate revenue for the broadcaster.  Everything in one box!  Traditional architectures would require separate systems to do the equivalent functionality.  Zynq™-7000 All Programmable SoCs integrate all the necessary functionality to enable channel-in-a-box in a single device. These functions include: 1) the input interfaces to ingest video; 2) the real-time video processing needed to implement digital video effects; 3)  the storage interfaces to archive the content; 4) the output interfaces to playout the final produced video; and  5) handle all the billing and business operations.
