Product Description

The Xilinx Machine Learning (ML) Suite provides users with the tools to develop and deploy Machine Learning applications for Real-time Inference. It provides support for many common machine learning frameworks such as Caffe, MxNet and Tensorflow as well as Python and RESTful APIs.

xDNN v3 will be available in the ML Suite in November 2018.

 


Solution Components

The ML Suite is composed of three basic parts:

  1. xDNN IP - High Performance general CNN processing engine.

  2. xfDNN Middleware - Software Library and Tools to Interface with ML Frameworks and optimize them for Real-time Inference.

  3. ML Framework and Open Source Support - Support for high level ML Frameworks and other open source projects.

Package Files for the Xilinx ML Suite - Alveo U200

Download and install the Xilinx Runtime and Shell Interface Packages for your Alveo U200 Data Center accelerator card.

1.

Download the Xilinx Runtime

The Xilinx runtime (XRT) is a low level communication layer (APIs and drivers) between the host and the card.

IMPORTANT: Please enter the following command before installing the XRT: 

RedHat:

sudo yum-config-manager --enable rhel-7-server-optional-rpms

sudo yum install -y https://dl.fedoraproject.org/pub/epel/epel-release-latest-7.noarch.rpm

CentOS:

sudo yum install epel-release


2.

Download the Deployment Shell

The deployment shell is the communication layer physically implemented and flashed into the card.


3.

Download the ML Suite Overlays

The Alveo U200 hardware overlays (XCLBIN) contain the ML Suite application logic.


4.

Download the ML Suite Pre-Trained Models

The pre-trained models are required to run the included applications and examples.

Download and install the Xilinx Runtime and Shell Interface Packages for your Virtex UltraScale+ FPGA VCU1525 Acceleration Development Kit.
