General Description: I am using Leonardo Spectrum and am encountering errors when I try to check out a valid Level 1 or Level 2 license. (This affects versions of Leonardo Spectrum that are older than v2001.1d.)
If am attempting this while trying to synthesize from Project Navigator, the console window displays errors similar to the one shown below for each license type or feature (Ls3, ls2to3, leonardo, galileo_leo_upgrade, ls2, ls1to2, galileo);
". . . Security Error -5: Checkout of "ls2to3" failed - No such feature exists Feature: ls2to3 License path: C:\FLEXLM\LICENSE.DAT FLEXlm error: -5,357 Licensing checkout error with feature ls2to3. (Error code -5.) The feature requested is not found in any license file. This can occur by using a license file or server that is intended for another product. . . . EXEWRAP detected a return code of '2' from program 'C:/apps/Exemplar/LeoSpec/LS2001_1d_RC_38/bin/win32/spectrum'
Done: failed with exit code: 0002."
ISE 4.2i users MUST download and use the latest version of Leonardo Spectrum (v2001.1d) if trying to use a Level 1 or Level 2 license. (A Level 3 license will work without error.) You may download the latest version from:
Leonardo Spectrum incorporates an algorithm for finding licenses. If a Level 3 license is not found, it looks for a Level 2 license; if a Level 2 license is not found, it searches for a Level 1 license. (Older versions [before v2001.1d] did not look for a Level 1 license if a Level 2 license could not be found.)
