While running TRCE or Timing Analyzer, the tools perform a core dump if a path is found to have a hold time, but no setup time.
In order for this to happen, the command line must specify a verbose report. The seg fault occurs when attempting to report the path with a hold time, but no setup time.
This problem is usually easily remedied by adjusting the path tracing controls to eliminate the hold time as well as the setup. This problem can be produced in customer software, though it would require incomplete knowledge of how to invoke path tracing controls.
It has been requested that this be fixed in a future release.
