LogiCORE CORDIC v1.0 - 4.2i_ip2 CORE Generator Cordic v1_0 "Sin and Cos" function contains outputs that are the opposite of what is indicated on the data sheet

Keywords: COREGen, Cordic, Sin, Sine, Cos, Cosine X_out, Y_out

The "Sin and Cos" function of the Cordic core has outputs that appear to be in reverse order from what is reported on the data sheet. The cosine result appears on the "x_out" output, and the sine result appears on the "y_out" output.

The information on the data sheet is incorrect -- the outputs are reversed.

In the correct output results, the cosine will be on the "x_out" output, and the sine will be on the "y_out" output.

Please see (Xilinx Answer 29570) for a detailed list of LogiCORE CORDIC Release Notes and Known Issues.
