5.1i PACE - When I place a group on an insufficient location range, the out-of-range group members are not placed

Description

Keywords: I/O, IO, group, place

Urgency: Standard

General Description:
When I place an I/O group on an insufficient location range, the out-of-range group members are not placed. If I select multiple I/Os from the Design Object List (DOL) and place them on an insufficient range, the remaining components still attach to the cursor.

Solution

The DOL and Hierarchy windows display unplaced I/Os so that you can select the unplaced I/Os or group from the DOL and place the remaining I/Os.
