Keyword: CORE Generator, Error, Place
MAP reports the following error message:
"ERROR:Place - Structured logic associated with an F6 configuration could not be placed due to a placement constraint. This logic requires a very specific relative placement. The relative placement required by the logic was impossible to resolve."
This problem is due to a rare placement error that occurs in CORDIC v1.1 cores. If this error is reported, you can work around the issue by turning off the Relatively Placed Macro (RPM) on the core and regenerating the core.
This error is fixed in CORDIC v2.0.
