** Error: (vish-19) Failed to access library 'x_sprim1x_usim_ndb' at
"x_sprim1x_usim_ndb".
No such file or directory. (errno = ENOENT)"

Solution

To avoid this error, check the following items after you install the EDK Software:

- Be sure that you are compiling the libraries correctly as stated in the EDK "Getting Started" documentation (edk_getstarted.pdf). This file is located in the "doc" directory of the EDK installation.

- Ensure that the behavioral libraries are updated to your current ModelSim SE version by entering the following command in the DOS window:

vmap_edk_libs $EDK/edk_nd_libs

where "$EDK" is the path to the EDK build.

- Update your ModelSim Version using the following command:

vmap_edk_libs -refresh $XILINX_EDK/edk_nd_libs
