6.1i ECS - Default values for DCM attributes are always used by the ISE implementation tools even if the attributes are given user-defined values in ECS

Keywords: 6.1, ECS, DCM, symbol, schematic, attributes, ignored, default, CLKFX, CLKDV, user, defined, property

Urgency: Standard

General Description:
In ECS 6.1i, user-defined values for attributes associated with a DCM symbol (e.g., CLKFX, CLKDV) are not passed successfully to the ISE implementation tools. Instead, the default values are always used.

To work around this issue, enter the relevant DCM constraints in a UCF file. The constraint values defined in the UCF file will be used by the ISE implementation tools.

This problem has been fixed in the latest 6.2i Service Pack available at:
The first service pack containing the fix is 6.2i Service Pack 2.
