LogiCORE PCI Express - Completion status field in TSK_TX_COMPLETION task in the example pci_exp_usrapp_tx.v fields is in the wrong order

Description

General Desciption:

In the pci_exp_usrapp_tx.v file, there are two tasks for completions: with or without data. They are TSK_TX_COMPLETION and TSK_TX_COMPLETION_DATA, and each includes the following statement:

trn_td <= #(Tcq) {1'b0, 2'b00, 5'b01010, 1'b0, tc_, 4'b0000, 1'b0, 1'b0, 2'b00, 2'b00, len_, COMPLETER_ID_CFG, 8'b0, 5'b0, comp_status_ };

The completion status field (comp_status_) is in the wrong place.

Solution

To fix this problem, rewrite the line as follows:

trn_td <= #(Tcq) {1'b0, 2'b00, 5'b01010, 1'b0, tc_, 4'b0000, 1'b0, 1'b0, 2'b00, 2'b00, len_, COMPLETER_ID_CFG, comp_status_, 5'b0, 8'b0 };

The order of the three fields (comp_status_, 5'b0, 8'b0) does not affect the normal operation of the example because a successful completion is also 000, which is already covered by the 8'b0 field.
