What flashes are supported by XPS FlashWriter?
The XPS flash programmer uses the Common Flash Interface (CFI) to query the flash devices, so it requires that the flash device be CFI compliant.
The layout of the flash devices to form the total memory interface width is also important. Table 9-1 of the Flash Memory Programming Chapter in the EST Guide (accessible from your EDK Install area \EDK\doc\est_rm.pdf) lists the flash layouts/configurations that are supported.
If your flash layout does not match a configuration in the table, then you will have to customize the flash programming session. Refer to the "Customizing Flash Programming" section in the Document listed above.
