Running a Project Properties command returns the following error:
"ERROR:TclTasksC:project_022: Unknown process "<process name>" for instance "<instance name>""
% project properties -process map -instance /top_mod/my_inst
Following error occurs:
"ERROR:TclTasksC - ERROR:TclTasksC:project_022: Unknown process "map" for instance "/top_mod/my_inst".
Type [help project get_processes] for more information. ERROR:TclTasksC:project_101 - project properties: Internal error. Unable to get all properties."
This error occurs when the command line includes more information than it can logically handle. In the example command line above, both the -process and -instance options are used.
The "project properties" command can return either the processes available for instance "/top_mod/my_inst":
% project properties -instance /top_mod/my_inst
OR the properties set for the "map" process (but not both):
% project properties -process map
NOTE: If an instance is not set as the "Top Level Module", there is a limited set of processes available for the instance.
You can set an instance as the "Top Level Module" with the "project set top" command:
% project set top /top_mod/my_inst
If an instance or a process is not specified for the "project properties" command, the command returns the processes available for the "Top Level Module."
