Profiling on XMD writes out a "gmon.out" file that is very large. Why is this happening?
This problem appears to occur when you profile two times in the same XMD session. The second time you profile, the "gmon.out" file increases in size and the application is killed.
The only way to work around the problem is to profile only once in the same XMD session.
This problem has been fixed in the latest EDK 9.1i Service Pack, available at:
The first service pack containing the fix is EDK 9.1i Service Pack 1.
